This Chardonnay was wild. Never had a chard like this. Such heavy viscosity to it! Since it was tasted blind, someone even asked if it could possibly be a dessert wine. My first and final thought was a Roussanne. So much honey, Meyer lemon, apricot and pineapple. Full bodied and large Chardonnay.

Very nice from start to finish. Good balance between fruit and mineral. Bold Napa Chardonnay very well crafted. Would probably benefit from a few more years in the cellar...
