Decanted overnight . Signature napa French oak dressing, couldn't peg it as a single varietal cab franc on day one. Needs ten years.

Ruby red with a slight rose rim, nose of strawberry and violets with rose petals and slight spice. Sandy tannins and slight fruit as well as vanilla from oak, superb and extremely drinkable Cab Franc.

An interesting wine with a strong tannin backbone. Strong layers of blackberry, licorice and cedar flavors with some earth tones. A fruity but dry, gritty finish with strong oak overtones. This wine will probably age for a long time and will benefit from more time in the bottle.
