Better than the vintages past. This year is very heavy on pepper and spice, finishing strong with dark fruit notes. Wonderfully paired with lighter, sharp firm cheese or chocolates

A blend of 62% Petite Sirah, 19% Zinfandel & 17% Syrah, aged in French oak (60% new). Dark Ruby with ripe dark fruit aromas with spicy oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and blackberry with notes of black pepper, leather and cacao. Well balanced, fine tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla and floral notes.

One of my favorite wines! Dark purple in color, full bodied, silky smooth with lots of dark fruit on the palate. Never disappoints!

Inky in color with a short purple rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, black currants, sweet cherries, wood, licorice, spices, dried fruits, coffee, dirty oil?, chocolates, mocha, flat coke, medicine and black pepper.

Medium plus in body with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry and fruity on the palate with blackberries, black currants, cherries, sweet raspberries, oak, leather, licorice, spices, chocolates, tobacco, mocha, coke, metals and black pepper.

Long sweet finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cranberries.

This is a nice red blend from Paso Robles, California. Not fully balanced yet, with mild complexity and a smooth mouthfeel.

Very fruity and might be too much for some (Might have some risidual sugar). Smells and tastes like purple (is there such a thing?), was kind of weird, actually.

Good right out of the bottle and great for parties. Still young and will be better in a year or two. This was tasty but a little fake tasting at the same time.

Robert Parker 92 points.

A blend of 54% Petite Sirah, 27% Syrah and 19% Zinfandel.

15.2% alcohol by volume.

87 Points.

$25.

Petite Sirah , Syrah , Zinfandel blend 2014 a very good year. Also 91 rating in RP Wine Advocate.. Tried at DAOU dinner at Chophouse with Monday Night Wine Group. Pretty impressive. Reminds me of The Prisoner at half the price.
