Columbia County 2.0: interesting drinking this day after a German Pinot, as I found them surprisingly related. A fave Beaujo producer’s Morgon, also a cooler tone & elegant. Blackberries & cassis, darker berries and a fine grittiness to integrated tannins. I like this drinking window (6 yrs) but imagine several if not more left.

Light bright and elegant. More Beethoven than funk.

These 2015s are less exciting than the 14s by far. It was too hot for gamay. Its coming out confected and lacking structure. Going to try foillards 2015s soon so well see. This was ok.

Dark berries, iron, dark soil & rocks. Great structure & freshness!

In its prime, but hinting at potential for nuanced growth. Wishing I had bought more in 2010.
