Delys Morgon Gamay
I was expecting flab since the high-octane burgundy vintages are often overripe and boring in Bojo, but this was gorgeous. Still super lively and complex, I’ll be keeping an eye out for more good Morgon from 09 as it’s got great bones.

Apr 5th, 2020Nice nose. Plummy. Spice, cherries, some hints of mushroom. Nice. Palate is rich and ripe with good concentration and purity. Great precision as well. Last bottle was pretty meh. Loads of spice on the finish. Really balanced and shows a great side of 2009.

Jul 6th, 2019Huge nose. Meats, spice, a bit ripe, very deep. Hot mess on the palate. Oof. Candied, not, disjointed, burning. Very "bad" '09.
Update: needed an hour. Much more knit together.

Perhaps it's the vintage characteristic, but rather dried up now. Dried herbs, and very little fruit left. Well, gotta try another bottle.
