Vaso Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Wild berry and chocolate. Medium- tannin. 2010 vintage. Good to drink wine by itself but not well matched with ribeye steak.

Rather disappointing. Even after opening it was too sharp

Ok wine.. not great.. expected more given the Dana pedigree! More savory than fruity, still tannic and oaky .. took a while to open up but still underwhelming!

Big, bold, and rich. Generous sweet cherries, balanced with nice acidity, and fine tannins that stood up to and paired perfectly with the spicy BBQ at Cote.

This wine continues to drink well with filet mignon or without. Bright dark fruit, vanilla oak, some coffee notes, and Rutherford dust!

Wonderful wine from Dana that is approachable immediately upon opening! Bright fruit, vanilla, and dust combine to present an enjoyable second wine from the Estate.

DANA’s third label cab. This wine gets better with each vintage. Every winery should be so lucky to have their 3rd label be so good (good value too).

This DANA 3rd lable is a tremendous value. Full bodied with expressive fruit and nice structure, although a bit jammy for my tastes. A nice choice for a every day weekday indulgence.

Better than expected. Medium bodied approachable wine with some depth and nuance. I corked it last night and will finish it tonight. Will update comment if there are any changes to report.

I tried one of these a couple years ago and wrote that maybe some bottle age would help this wine to express itself. It is pleasant and is about as good as it will get. It is lacking depth and finish. Drink them now as I think they are at their peak.
