Helms Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon Helms Vineyard is bright, aromatic and savory. Lovely energy drives the red berry, pine, cinnamon, spicecake orange peel, mint and rose petal flavors. At times, the aromatics recall Nebbiolo. This mid-weight, lithe Cabernet has aged impeccably. I would prefer to drink it over the next handful of years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, May 2022)

Ripe plum, blackberry, mint and spice with silky tannins. New find for me, gift from a guest at a Chefs Table wine dinner.

Just beginning to show its depth. Excellent.

05' Dana Estate Helms Vineyards Cabernet. I've had this several times. Previous note still apply. Don't see this getting any better. Drink them in the next 4/5 years . at - Sarento's On The Beach, Maui

I never rate our own wines unlike many others on the app. Not into the askew ratings that provides. I accidentally hit the rating scale and since you're committed at that point I had to rate it something. At least I didn't go for the 10 like so many other wine industry folk.
