Dark ruby red with garnet edges. Rich nose with dark currants, baking spices and a touch of damp earthiness. Full bodied and medium plus tannins (7.5/10). High acidity with flavors of dark berries, dark spices, cinnamon and a touch of vanilla. Tons of structure with a long finish. Drink till 2028+.

1.5 hour decant(some cloudy sediment). A unforgettable dark ruby red color with little signs of aging. On the nose: sweet red fruit, floral, a slight funky forest floor, graphite, vanilla. Taste: Shut the front door!!!!!! A rich, soft, silky wine with black cherry, pepper, a little cinnamon graphite, red plum, with a long sweet anise finish....yum
Note: the 2006 was 65% cab franc and 35% cab sauvignon...this has been reversed in recent vintages with 65% cab sauvignon and 35 % cab franc...booooo
