I wish people would stop identifying this wine as sweet. Technically there is no R.S. It is very fruity and blueberry forward which I think is confusing for some palettes. It does show a bit acidity and light tannins which can taste unbalanced. It is on the cheaper end of the scale and is standard for what it is. Pair it with a fatty protein which will help the over abundance of fruit tones

High octane Pinot. Fruit forward and dark in color. Tastes like there is a dollop of Syrah in there! Not bad.

The winemaker calls this wine “blueberry motor oil that will stain your soul.” He also advises that you not spill any on your shirt.
A Central Coast appellation, the Cycles Gladiator Petite Sirah hits 14.8% abv and sells for a pretty incredible $11. The wine spent 15 months in oak, half new American and half neutral.
This is a dark wine, very dark, non-porous dark. There is no light getting through this indigo pour at all. Loads of blueberry smells jump right out, followed by abundant oak spices. A little smoky and savory angle sneaks through at the edge of the glass. The wine is very easy to drink, with fine tannins and beautiful dark-fruit flavor laced with that oak effect.

Great red and label that brings back the time of bicycles in Paris and the women’s suffrage movement. Bicycles literally liberated women from domesticity to work and vote.

A surprisingly good, fruit forward petite sirah. Juicy but not too sweet. Perfect table wine. -2016 vintage
