This is a young wine. It can definitely sit for a few years. Pairing with homemade pizza with bacon and onion. ON THE NOSE: licorice, carob, cherry and plum. ON THE PALATE: wood smoke, cherry, plum and dried herbs. Medium body and medium finish.

After the initial burn off, the smell of pomegranate juice is prevalent.
Lighter bodied than I am used to in a Nero, tastes of thin bark, jolly rancher red, cherry preserves. Tiny bits of oak, with acid showing more electric Larry land at the end.
A pleasant wine, and the glass cork is my favorite enclosure!
Not many producers use this, always excited by those that do.

Hit of raspberries on the nose. Flavor is elegant. Roses and cocoa. Some vanilla and hint of oak. Plenty of backbone. Very balanced.
