It is light but potent enough to gather interest at approximately the rate of—wait I’d have to check my stocks to make a good analogy—but it has a slender body, gracefully bruised apples (bruise but make it art!) lemons and something of a hint at salinity that makes a friendly sip alone or with a munch.

Light but powerful. Medium straw color. Complex aromas and flavors of green apple, pear, lemon/lime zest, white flowers, freshly baked bread. A slight mineral note on the oaky (quite noticeable) finish. Medium bodied and creamy texture. Crisp acidity. A bit of tension.

More citrus and tang than I was expecting in a Chardonnay. Almost no hint of smoke or oak. It was ok, but not really one I would return to.

Agree that there are a lot of different flavors in this wine—citrus and caramel most pronounced—that tend to compete rather than blend.

Conservative use of oak with a wonderful citrus flavor. 2017 vintage on 11-3-19.

Went nicely with roast chicken but I get what people are saying with the “overmanipulated” comments. The tastes seem to come in stages - tangy citrus, creamed apple, faint toastiness - without ever quite coming together.
