A tasty cab franc blend with an expressive nose of dark fruit. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium to long finish. Very nice.

Charcoal, toast, black currants, jammy cherries, and a hint of wood spice in a medium to full bodied, luscious, hedonistic, “fruit bomb” style

Deep, dark blue with cherry red accents. A somewhat muted nose upon opening, showing some blue fruit but mostly dusty earth, violets, and just a hint of Marlboros. It can be really difficult to walk that fine line between power and finesse, as this one attempts to do. And this is a big, powerful Cab Franc blend, with the Malbec and Merlot adding that bigness. Incredibly dry and smooth, it manages to sidestep any potential problems due to the alcohol and dances beautifully on the tongue. The fruit is more pronounced on the palate with black cherry, blueberries, and dusty cherries. Well balanced oak, dry tobacco, and earthy herbs round things out. This does manage to walk that fine line.
