Onbthis Thursday night the eve of another weekend I have opened the 2017 Cristom Eileen Vineyard Pinot Noir. This wine is from the Eola-Amity Hills of the Willamette Valley Oregon.
Onnthe nose there is cherry, strawberry, cranberry, a good barnyard funk, clove and earthy notes.
On the palate there are notes of cherry, rasoberry, strawberry, clove, vanilla, herbs, cinnamon and earth.
This wine is medium bodied with a velvety mouthfeel, medium acidity and medium + fine tannins which leads into a long red fruit finish. Lets have a great weekend. It is surely shaping up to be just that here. Stay safe and healthy and all will be good. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷
