Deeply seductive, the 2021 Pinot Noir Eileen Vineyard opens with a burst of mentholated herbs, licorice and sweet autumnal spices. Juicy and broad upon entry, this envelopes the palate with ripe red and hints of blue fruit, giving way to suggestions of cola and lavender. Its mineral core comes forward through the finish, gaining tension through a blend of fine tannins and residual acids as spice and floral notes resonate throughout. The Eileen Vineyard is refined using 46% whole clusters and 34% new French oak barrels for eighteen months. (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2024)

Smells of straw and almond

Slightly muted. This is one of those keep on opening up as the night goes wines..
Medium side of light bodied - dried red currant, black cherry, complex and so very well made, tangelo acidity and chomping stavvy tannins,
This will keep getting interesting. Needs at least a couple of hours.

Shimmering ruby-red. Expansive dark berry, potpourri and baking spice aromas show excellent clarity and pick up smoky mineral and musky earth nuances with air. Combines power and finesse with a deft hand, offering palate-staining black raspberry, boysenberry and spicecake flavors that deepen steadily on the back half. Shows sharp delineation and a suave violet pastille quality on the strikingly persistent finish, which features fine-grained tannins and a sappy, resonating dark berry liqueur note. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2019)

Still needs time. The '08s never seem to age.

Ripe red fruits and spicy minerality. Flawlessly balanced. A perfect introduction to Oregon PN.
