2005 Bodegas Buten 'Crater' Red from #Tacoronte-Acentejo, Las #Canarias#wine. Blend of Listan Negro & Negramoll. Aromas of fresh blackberries, anise, pecil shavings, black pepper, soy sauce, and an interesting and pleasant note of Parmesan.. Some funk and shy at first, the volcanic nose really blossomed after about 30 minutes. Bright, berry flavors with just the right amount of acidity and soft tannins. Very nice finish, great with food, it's another winner from the Canaries.
