Te Muna Road Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc

Nice balance of grapefruit, gooseberry and tropical fruit. 

Served at 58-59 degrees and it was WOT AFTERNOON 🤓🤓✌🏼✌🏼🍷🍷

The pungent, plush 2021 Sauvignon Blanc Te Muna Road Vineyard (Martinborough) offers up layers of both grassy and elderflower flavors in combination with a tropical fruit salad. It's sweetly fruited and ripe, presenting a rich mouthful of Sauvignon-ness. A small portion of barrel-fermented fruit has rounded the edges, and the fragrant finish is fresh yet ripe. A little more length would be welcome; this may have something to do with the addition of younger vines from new plantings. Drink in youth for its fruity freshness. Outstanding NZSB. Perfect minerals. Complex layers of fruit - grape fruit and white peach. Racy acidity.

Very nice wine. Well balanced and the price is even better for the quality.

Craggy Range is a family owned winery established in 1997. Pale straw with stone and citrus fruit aromas with hints of honey sweetness. On the palate dry, with lively fruit, gooseberry, lime, melon and pronounced grapefruit flavors with subtle herb tones, vivid acidity, crisp and refreshing. Long smooth finish ending with a mineral tones. Nice value! Ready to drink now! Love the ‘19.
