Bright red fruit, nice acidity, hints of green pepper, a solid CF.

2012, pretty nice spice. Very WA style
Cab franc, so great structure and low veggie flavors. Great buy for $20

Big big big. Lots of ripeness and lots of American oak. Not my thing.

Initially some brambly aromas and even some green pepper. Anise and black pepper, a bit hot on the palate. Still, it was nice and typical of Cab Franc from WA.

Really pretty fruit that didnt seem overripe, some franc green and the oak didn't stand out. Put the cork back in and 12 hours later the oak dominated everything. Next day the oak disappears and really pretty fruit showed through. Decant.

I'm drinking the 2013 vintage in 2018. The nose is lightly fruity with a nice caramel note. My first impression was that the wine was pretty acidic and could use a food pairing, but over the duration of the night, as it opened more, the wine is acceptable as a stand alone. A little too light-bodied for me and not floral enough, but would be better with a snack. I'll try it that way tomorrow.

Not a lot of experience with single-varietal cab franc, but medium body, low acid and nice forward red and black fruit.
