Antiguas Reservas Maipo Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Old cellar smells.
Barn floor, tabac, dark fruit leather. The wine is lighter in body than you would think, which sighs heavily as the oak comes over to pick it back up and lifts it into the medium bodied range. Could use a little more time to allow for full oak/win/acidity balance, and that’s on me.
Haven’t had a CM wine since I was at the winery.

I liked this wine. Lighter than expected with subtle fruit and a slight oaky finish. Was good with lamb.

Good wine!!

Tobacco, pepper, oak. Very spicy. Plum and blackberries. Enjoyed this one the most. Pair this with a hearty and rich red meat dish.
