Nov 29th, 2021Excellent crisp and flavorful Italian white from Sicily. Gleason in Montana and would love it again.

May 18th, 2020Continuing the winery visit. A nobler contrada in terms of vine age and soil richness, this also sees a few months of oak (30% new), and presents a much richer profile accordingly. Yellower fruit and more minerality and brine than the base bianco.

Mar 30th, 2019Now one year older, this wine has rounded out. Slightly less vulcanity, closer so Chablis this time around. Excellent.

Oct 5th, 2018Great minerality, salinity and vulcanity. Followed this with good poully-fumé, which while quite a bit similar, was not able to keep up ... at all.
