Light crimson in colour. This medium bodied red is the typical Etna blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio. Red fruits savoury Cherry and red currant. Fresh and unaffected by oak. Could pair with a variety of foods.

Stainless steel, extended maceration. Offering generous dark fruits and spice but also fairly hard tannins.

Etna Rosato, 100% Nerello Mascalese, volcanic air, lavic soil, loveliness.

Juicy and ladsting. Good Taste of #Etna.

Ruby in colour. Earthy nose with raspberry minerally notes. Not surprising coming from volcanic soils around Mt Etna. Subdued oak (30% barriques). Low savoury tannins. Drink now.

Expressive of its origin and balanced...not to mention clean and free of any funk.

2 new grape varieties for me. Jubey floral aromas and flavours. Easy on the front palate but quite a firm finish. Essential with food as you would expect.

A bit light on the fruit, but a good food wine

2014 still unbottled - might have preferred minus the barrique, but a decently nice showing for this steadfast producer. Time should round it out some more #vinitaly #vinitaly2015
