One of my all-time favorite Napa producers, Cathy Corison produces wines that are always true to her style - low alcohol wines built to last for decades. This wine is no exception, even though it's her negotiant wine, purchased from Rutherford vineyards with long-term relationships where she controls the growing decisions.

Best of show at Pomona College Alumni wine tasting. Good tannins, medium and heavy weight, more aging needed. Briary, black currant nose, bright Berry-cherry flavors in mouth. Restrained style but worthy drink

Beautiful wine for a fantastic aged ribeye. Earth, lavender, blackberry, opening up to red cherry and a nice finish. Silky tannins for a beautiful structure. The wine got better and better throughout the meal but was singing even at the open.

Amazing. Built for age but drinking great now with a good decant. Floral with layers of dark fruit and wonderful freshness on the finish.
