Drank the Montalcino Rosso by the glass at Woody Creek Tavern and enjoyed, later bought a bottle of the nebbiolo in town preferred the rosso, but this was pleasant enough.

Looks dark. Closer to purple than red. Stone fruit scent. Smells like cherry. Hints of rose (flowers). Full bodied, lots of tannins. Punchy. Maybe black tea hints. One of the better high tannin reds I’ve tried.
