Went to a walk around tasting and tried this again. I like it, but I have an issue, read on. Palate shows raspberry and cherry fruit, a touch of vanilla, balanced tannin and acidity. Lingering finish, nice mouthfeel; a joy to drink. A BIG Negative, I am not a fan of exposed cork wines, no foil or wax protecting the cork! The wine sits on the shelf, cork gets dirty and may contaminate the wine. There are other great Pinot’s at the same price point where the corks are protected. I’ll drink one of those!!

Fruit profile is a Pinot roller coaster, each sip a little different, half are decent, other half lightly astringent.

Smells very fruity but also pleasantly wine-y. Very stuffy and sweet, full bodied, low tannins, slight sharpness at the end balances out sweetness at the very front and middle
