Saturday night and I have opened the 2012 Copain "Tous Ensemble" Chardonnay from Anderson Valley. A very nice example of an unoaked chardonnay.
On the nose there are apples, pineapple, passionfruit, a touch of fig, lemon balm, pie crust, white flowers and a nice minerality.
On the palate there are citrus notea, lemon, green apple, pear, saline solution, wet flint rock and mineral notes very present.
This wine is medium to full bodied and has a smooth mouth feel with medium + acidity that leads to a clean crisp long lemony finish. Your weekend can be fantastic as long as we all are nice to one another and stay safe. Nostrovia! 🥂🥂🥂🥂

Reductive with a little barrel funk on the nose. Once that blows off, the palate is super tight with a grapefruit component dominating. Dinged for reduction.
