Copain
Baker Ranch Anderson Valley Syrah
Took a while to come alive. White pepper, roasted fruit/fruit rollup, forest floor/tobacco, sour fruit, little minerality and nice acid. Tired. Good, but either past it’s prime or poor storage.

1 person found it helpfulNov 13th, 2013Beautiful wine. Sniffed the bouquet before swirling it and it had a subtle hint Camembert. Very cool. Then it settled and had a nose of compote and baked fruit. Deep blackberry palate with fantastic balance. One of the best domestic syrahs I've had in a while
