A strong vanilla scent explodes at first with a hint of mint behind. Then comes blackberry and a bit of heat. This is unmistakably a Spanish wine. The palate is well balanced with a strong acid backbone, a bit of red fruits, some matter on the side and a thickness on the edges. Some spicy tannins kick in in mid palate before a moderately long finish with fruit, an oaky thing and a bitterness which starts small but quickly grows. This is not bad but far too young and the oak needs to integrate.

Woaw caramel. Smells like an old Bourbon. Spicy and sticky, full-bodied with seemingly a lot of residual sugars. To sum up: lighyly heavy and subtlety concentrated. Shiny!
