Color is dark ruby which you can see through. Nose of violet, strawberry, some chalk and leather, which later became wet hay. Decent amount of legs showing higher alcohol, which quickly fall showing lower residual sugar. On the palate it's lush red fruit, black cherries, cocoa and finishes with decomposed leaves. A bit of pepper and a medium soft grippy finish. My first negroamaro and it drinks much younger and easier than a Sangiovese or Nebbiolo. Good easy drinking if you want to drink Italian reds.
