A lovely blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 16% Cabernet Franc, 4% Merlot, 3% Malbec, 2% Petit Verdot from the successful 2012 vintage in California, the wine has a lovely deep color, the nose is complex with notes of cofffee, black cherries, licorice all blend into a full bodied wine, with dry firm tanning that would benefit from a few more tears in the cellar. My score 89, drink to 2023

The 2012 vintage takes everything up a notch.

Complex European structure. Loads of cassis, cedar, earth, and herbs. Lovely balance and texture.

Blackberry, cassis, black cherry, licorice, oak and hints of mocha & vanilla. Great structure and well-integrated tannins.

Spice, cranberry, red cherry. M+ soft tannin, M+ finish, m acid. Dark fruit on the palate, a little chalky. M+ complexity and very elegant.
