Concho Y Toro was our second visit. It’s about 20 minutes from Almaviva.
On the nose; vegetal character green pepper, cat pee, cut grass, lemon, lime, citrus blossoms and jasmine.
The body is full. The palate fruit driven. Ripe; green apple, green melon, candied lemon, lime zest, guava, light, soft chalky minerals, cut grass, vegetal character, medium spice, yellow and white spring florals.
Photos of; their private residence which has not been used since 96 and now is used for professional tastings & Administration, Cabernet barrel room, plantings of all their grape varieties, planted for visiting grape tasters this time of year and the pond that sits in view of the old residence.

Золотисто-соломенный цвет. Аромат не слишком броский, сдержанный, немного фасоли, цитрусовые нотки, грейпфрут, выразительная минеральность. Деликатный, хрустящий. Вкус более цитрусовый, сухой, достаточно строгий, грейпфрут, белая смородина, крыжовник. Очень удачно!
