This was a rough week and Friday couldn't come soon enough. I have opened the 2014 Concha y Toro Marques de Casa Concha Carmenere. I have really started to like these Carmenere's from Chile and the QPR'S are off the charts.

The aromas a very pleasing with notes of blackberry, black cherry, sweet raspberry, plum, floral notes and a nice minerality.

On the palate the green bell pepper that I really like is very prevalent, there is notes of blackberry, red raspberry, herbaceousness, cocoa powder, pleasant oak, vanilla and dry soil.

There is medium + acidity, smooth fine sweet tannins with a long savory finish.

Enjoy the weekend and please be safe. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷🖒

Better with food, seemed to mellow out with some bread.

Dark cherry and plum, leather, earthy but shorter finish. Medium body.

V14. Very good. Good value. Cedar nose. Black cherry, black currant and plum hints on the fruit. Tight, slightly herbal, mocha finish. Very good food wine .

Earthy. Got a real herbaceous, soil-funk finish. I'm on the fence about this one.

Dark and deep red with caramel and nut aromas. Soft at mouth and rather acid and medium to short aftertaste.
