We had the 2013 Vintage Merlot on 7/20-21/19. I wanted to try a Chilean Merlot. There is a certain smell: Dark fruit and green pepper. Plum, oak and a hint of chocolate on the palate. The dusty tannins smoothed out over two hours of air. Medium bodied and not as fruit forward as an American Merlot.
