Concha y Toro
Marqués de Casa Concha Maipo Cabernet Sauvignon
A nice Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. Full bodied and bold with medium plus acidity.
Showing red and black fruits with earth notes and chocolates, tobacco and herbs.
Good right out of the bottle and earthier as it opens up.
Will be better in a couple of years.
13.5% alcohol by volume.
85 points.

Vintage 2013 / dark colour cedar in smell and also chocolate. Very vibrant with good acidity and still some potential for further improvement.

A nice Cabernet from Chile. Simple and not completely balanced. Might be better in a couple of years.
Better with food but drinkable by itself. Needs an hour to open up properly.
I paired it with Chilean BBQ Flank steak and veggies.

Veggies on the nose with bell pepper, black currants, blackberries, plums, oak, earth, chocolates, vanilla, asparagus, dill, bitter herbs and black pepper. (Like a fresh salad).
Full bodied with medium acidity and nice, long legs.
Dry on the palate with cherries, blackberries, strawberries, earth, leather, bell pepper, oak, vanilla, licorice, cloves, chocolates, forest floor, tobacco, herbs, spices and black pepper.
Medium finish with firm tannins and bitter herbs.
An average Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. Very earthy and a bit unbalanced. Better with food, though.
Not one for long term aging, but 2 to 3 years in the bottle, would definitely do good. Requires 90 minutes to open up properly.
This wine has way too much vegetables for my taste.
Grapes are grown on gravely soils, at the foot hills of the Andes, and come from only 2 specific Vinyards.

Dark Ruby red with aromas of red and black fruits and spice. On the palate fresh black cherry and dark Berry flavors, somewhat acidic with fine grain tannins. The finish is about medium and ends with smoky oak notes. Drink now this is not a wine to age. Tasting Sample.
