Concannon Vineyard
Limited Bottling Cabernet Sauvignon
Very nice wine but really dry. No hint of heat whatsoever and had a little bit of sour aftertaste.

Aug 8th, 2015Glad I got to try this again with more time. Even a Durand couldn't save this cork. Lovely aged Cali Cab, maybe slightly past prime. On the nose: dried mulberry with cedar toast and some soft charcoal. On the palate: still good acidity, more dried blackberry and mulberry, soft charred meat and completely attenuated tannin. Yum.

Jan 4th, 2021I like chocolate and licorice. That is what I smell when I nose this wine. It’s a nice burgundy color. Tastes only faintly fruity, rich w medium tannins and a nice warm lingering finish. Yes indeed, it lingers quite long. It is really a pretty nice wine. But for the money, it should be.
