Nortico Vinho Verde Alvarinho
A bit leaner and spritzer than Rias Baixas brethren, a touch of phenolic bitterness, but all in all quite quaffable.

Jul 21st, 2018Fine but bland. Acidic with a hint of yeast and too little citrus peel for my tastes.

Aug 6th, 2017In the glass it's unmistakably vinho verde with the fuzzy tiny bubbles. Nose is typical of Alvarinho with green apply, pineapple, lemon zest, and slight citrus favor. What sets this apart is the somewhat Viognier-like oily palate. A bit salty and stony. Very nice!
