Langhe Nebbiolo
The 2017 Langhe Nebbiolo is a real standout. More than anything else, the 2017 is exactly what a wine should be at this level: delicious and affordable. Sweet spice, crushed flowers, tobacco and dried cherry all develop in the glass. The 2017 is racy, effortless and undeniably beautiful. I won't be at all surprised if it develops very nicely with more time in bottle. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, March 2020)

Extremely approachable with dominate red fruits and violet florals. Less savoury than most and approachable structure.

Jul 8th, 2018Light and fruity but layered and Magical wine. Drank half one night then revisited the rest of the bottle one week later and was pleasantly surprised the wine was in perfect condition and opened up ! I would have dumped the bottle after all that time but somehow this wine is a survivor. 😍

Mar 18th, 2018Superlative tannin quality. I was leery of the current release being '11 but I like Burlottto. I have no idea what kind of alchemy allows a wine with 14.5% alc to feel this light. Great QPR and I'm going to tuck a couple of these away to see how they develop aroma.

2 people found it helpfulFeb 6th, 2013The 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo is laced with crushed raspberry, mint, kirsch, orange peel and spice. Effusive and inviting, the 2020 Langhe Nebbiolo is a real gem. In 2020, Burlotto did not bottle their Barolo Acclivi. The best blocks were added to this blend.
