Dark mixed berries and pine. High alcohol washes out the nuances. Needs heavy air time, better second day. Medium plus body and acid.

This is a terrific Barbera, better than others I’ve tried. Relatively simple, but very pure. Beautiful purple and fairly transparent. Fresh plum palate, bright and balanced. Nothing forced here. Decent balance and length.
