Columbia Crest
Reserve Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Excellent showing from this producer. Lovely fruit profile on the nose and palate. Tannins are solid and bold. Densely compact rich black fruits combine with maple syrup notes. Stunning example.

Aug 8th, 2020Beautiful cab. A little more subtle than the southern neighbors. But powerful fruit nonetheless and beautiful cassis notes as the wine opens up. Beautiful lingering finish. Good minerals to complement. Very delicious all around.

Nov 5th, 2019Small group for this month's WTF wine meet up, so why not hit up Fort Worth's best BYOB?
The nose on this was a bit muted, but it opened incredibly fast. Sweet oak and cassis. The body and texture is fairly light...the tannins weren't gripping at all. Blackberries, dusted plums, touch of graphite. Thanks for bringing Andrew!

Awesome. Strong cab... Just the way I like it. Wish I had a big, fat filet to go accompany.

Ripe in flavor, with a vivid array of black currant, blackberry, violet, black tea and black pepper aromas and flavors that zoom through to a long, expressive finish. Shows subtlety in the layers of complex flavor against a refined structure. Tannins are present but nicely contained.

Solid offering from CC. Rich, dark fruits, subtle earth and refined tannins are just a few of the highlights. The kind of bottle that you could pay $80 in a restaurant and feel like you got your money’s worth.
