Expecting more. The 2012 is very thin, almost watery. Some structure there but just not a lot of fruit to carry it. From other reviews, looks like other vintages may be a better bet.

Beautiful bouquet of sweet red strawberries that seemed to bloom after a few days opened. Mouth has red berries and eucalyptus and is pillowy soft. Traditional domesticated finessed Chianti.

Generally disappointing, thin, tart tasting. I've noticed over the last decade how generally uninteresting and characterless Italian wine has become. There's very little terroir or even grape or blend uniqueness. Gets better after a day or two open.

Great texture. Mineral and cherry. Amazing alone or with food.

A great wine - almost a bit of licorice in it, and a little pepper right before the finish.
