Ruby with elegant red fruit aromas and gentle floral spice, aged for 11 months in 30% new French oak. On the palate flavors of black cherry and strawberry with notes of herb pepper, licorice with wet stone notes. Soft full tannins on a long finish ending with fruit and savory earthy mineral notes. Very Nice!

Pleasantly surprised by how delicious this is. Dusty cranberry, leather, tobacco. While cluster…maybe? Great acid and a savory note

2021 opened May 2023. Hay and clover on the nose. Not much going on on the front of the palate—but maybe just a hint of unripe cherries. Light to medium tannic structure with lots of bitter, high notes beginning on the mid palate and peeking at the finish. And It has a long sour finish. Sort of like what you get from guzzling orange juice. I’ve been suitably humbled by my previous review, so I’m going to cork this up and check it out tomorrow to see if it improves. But right now, I give it a 8.7. Colleen Clemens has done much better with some of his other wines. This seems a little below their par.
