The 2009 Col Solare Red Wine is simply sensational right now. Needing an hour decant to fully arouse itself, the wine opens with a dazzling range on the nose from cedar to blackberry cordial to mocha and creosote. Once on the palate, the wine yields a great connection between weight and sense of tension. Deep black fruits mingle with graphite, tar and milk chocolate undertones. The exceedingly long finish completes this fantastic wine. Enjoy this over the next decade. Drink 2019-2028- 94

A baby - but deeply extracted inky purple - smooth tannins and stewed jammy fruit. I think this is built for the long haul. French oak w intense malo secondary aromas of cream

Silky, light backbone, beautiful red blend. Raspberry and currant on the nose. Plum and black cherry on the back end.

Aged gracefully Wow
Very impressive for a 2001. Nice long lingering finish. Drink now, still lots of fruit!

Not the most complex version of this collaboration between the famed Antinori family and Chateau Ste Michelle. But, still enjoyable. Offers up aromas of dark berries, mint, and chocolate which carries over to my palate with additional tannic structure to help lengthen the finish.
