Very nice, BUT, The Chief at $20 per bottle goes toe-to-toe with this, and holds its own. Great structure, length and finish. Very exotic nose which rotates between coffee, bilberry and a hint of nutmeg. Good example.

It's pretty tasty and has opened up nicely, but I'm glad I got a deal on this. Darling of Wine Spectator? It would be a steal at $17. Fruit is bright but not too jammy-black cherry mostly, minerally w lots of graphite and volcanic rock. Dried herbs come into play too. Finish/complexity medium plus.

Second wine of the night and this 2010 Coho blew the Opus Overture that preceded it out of the water. Exceptionally well balanced, complex, layered and silky finish. It tasted like the Opus with just another whole level of refinement.

A fantastic represent of the Bordeaux style wines coming out of California. Big big wine! A nice rounded finish and definitely needs to breathe. Good lay down candidate too!

Overblown Napa Cab. Lots of overripe fruit and new oak.
