Coho - Headwaters - 2010 - Cabernet-Sauvignon - Napa Valley - beautiful expression of a California Cab! Full body - good structure - Aromas/Flavors: plums/ dry cherries- long finish!

Really solid wine. Complex notes, black pepper, fruit leather, with blue fruit on the palate. Great tannin grain, it's textured and layered with no pronounced alc. the winemaker was a bit standoffish when I met him but I won't hold that against him.

Straight up Napa Cab (with a little Merlot and PV), for those who don't like pyrazines in their Cabernets. I, however, wished for a little more complexity here.

Better than expected. Really well integrated tannin. Very nice.

It's pretty tasty and has opened up nicely, but I'm glad I got a deal on this. Darling of Wine Spectator? It would be a steal at $17. Fruit is bright but not too jammy-black cherry mostly, minerally w lots of graphite and volcanic rock. Dried herbs come into play too. Finish/complexity medium plus.

Ok. Don't empty the bank account for this...typical, napa, ripe...missing intensity or something other than ripe fruit...woo hoo!

Coho Wines- a personal favorite, naturally, as a Clevelander.

Lighter than I would have expected.

Middle of the road. Nothing that would stand out. Somewhat disappointed given my previous experience with Coho
