Deep dark ruby, extracted dense red fruit. Perfume, dried berries on the nose and palate. Full bodied with high alcohol. A bit bitter with chalky tannins. Definitely NOT round, despite the blending of several Bordeaux grapes.

Trying the ‘15 vintage - delicious right out of the bottle. Silky with layered fruit and well balanced. First open patio at North County Wine Company since the beginning of the pandemic.

Our last bottle of this vintage. Nose displays menthol, charcoal and delicate oak. Palate has medium weight with good minerality, similar to granite. Nice relaxed blue fruits with a hint of cinnamon wash over the mid-palate. Finishes with a delicate, maple sweetness.

First tasting of the 2013. Doesn’t disappoint. Very well rounded blend.
