Ripe waxy quince. Fruity bitterness notes at the end. Thinner texture than the nose would lead to expect. Thinking: walnuts, candied bacon; Granny green apples to counter it all. Pana Cotta.

Aaand to finish the night: a freakin' New Zealand late harvest Riesling. Come to mama. Yep, it was just as good as you'd expect it to be. Perfect with a bite of Brie and cinnamon apples. I'm a lucky gal!!
