What a bad boy. Full of supple blackberry fruit from the Syrah balanced with lovely and silky tannin from the Tempranillo. Absolutely excellent flavor and structure. Truly exciting for Oregon. — 8 years ago
Was thrilled when my mom surprised me with this for Easter. Scents of orange blossom which changed to apple cider and bright acid as the bottle was open. Super fresh tasting! Continuing the trend of Iron Horse creating some of the highest quality sparkling wines in California. — 9 years ago
Delicious Shiraz from Australia that you would swear was from the Rhone in France. Juicy raspberry fruit with a touch of anise and herb, and a soft finish. Doesn't linger too long, perfect for beginners to the category! — 9 years ago
Absolutely excellent. Could stand to age for several more years. Herbal notes on the nose and surprisingly soft and elegant on the palate. An aha wine that will make you a true wine lover/nerd. — 8 years ago
Really enjoy the fact that you can truly taste where this wine is from. The limestone soil affects the flavor of the wine deeply. No overly extracted fruit, with a mineral/graphite finish. — 9 years ago
Incredibly juicy fruit that's full of tropical and citrus fruit like mango, pineapple, lemon, and grapefruit. Fans of New Zealand Sauv Blanc would like for the fruitiness and strong aroma, but doesn't have that "over the top" acid and pineyness that can overpower some of those wines. — 9 years ago
Probably the most exciting wine I've had from California or maybe the U.S. this year. Absolutely delicious, refreshing acidity with bright, soft blackberry fruit and the faintest hint of cassis on the finish. It's perfect. This is my favorite kind of wine. — 8 years ago
I found this wine to be absolutely charming for the price and the style. I was very intrigued to try a sparkling wine from Bordeaux and made with mostly Semillon. It does have that somewhat heavier texture you get from Semillon and but is still pretty bright with apple and citrus notes. — 9 years ago
Absolutely love the bright acidity and fresh lemon citrus in this refreshing Vermentino! Cool to see what else Provence has to offer besides just Rosé. — 9 years ago

Perfectly aged - 2011 vintage drinking in May 2017. Full of red raspberry fruit and a violety and floral finish. Thank you Ridge for always reviving my love for California wine when I doubt it. — 8 years ago
