Clos Saron
A Deeper Shade of Blue Syrah Blend
As my palate expands, I’m starting to recognize the Clos Saron signature that makes these wines so beguiling and attractive. Ripe wild fruit, slightly bretty and with a touch of VA that typically blows off after an hour or so. But an incredible depth of secondary aromas ranging from stone and mineral, to dried herbs, to wild animal musk. And at this age, palate is beautifully balanced between fine tannins and a fresh acidity. Wines of character and place for sure.
