Opened almost 24 hours. Silky fruit, licorice herbs, with incredible stamina.

Very good but not quite as expressive as I had remembered previously but still very good Chateauneaf du Pape. Initial aromas of roasted cherries and dried herbs with a little plum. Good acids and a nice chunky tannic structure give it a bold palate but not too heavy.

On the nose earth, leather, spice and dark berry. On the palate initially dark berry with a sweet lingering red berry finish.
