Hommage Mitsuko's Vineyard Estate Bottled Chardonnay

Not sure I’ve chosen the correct label.
Hommage Mitsuko’s Vineyard, Artist Series Reserve.
For a 2010, this is stunning for its grace and presence on the nose and palate. Nose reminds me of Aubert with caramel and honeycomb. Consistent palate, which is also oily and viscous. Perfect acidity suggests this will sail on for another 10 years. Gutted that we only have this example... shocked at how well this showed.

Reserve bottling. Less large and in charge than the Estate, a trend with Clos Pegase. Toasted butterscotch, creme brulee.

Big oak. Round and plump with Apple, vanilla and fine acid.

Buttery but not oaky. Best of both worlds?

Magnificent at 10 years old- suspect it will get even better with time.

A lot of oak and malo but it's pretty good if you're into that.

Delicious

Still a good Chard and tastes like there is less butter than the last bottle.

Great Bourgogne like flavors with butterscotch to boot. I would have it weekly if it wasn't for the price.

Another excellent Clos Pegase selection.
