Pleasant, good value Malbec (85% with 15% Merlot) with raspberry, dark plum, cocoa and pencil lead notes on a firm spine. Good focus and energy here, and quite food friendly to boot.

Vintage 2017 | Bought more of this wine, incredible nice. Raspberry smell. Very fine weekday wine.

Vintage 2017 / pieuwh, quite a surprise! Nothing heavy and black, just frivolous raspberry. Juicy. Quaffable. 85% cot/malbec and 15% merlot. Great effort. Wednesday - Meatballsday (15)

Wild/rustic boysenberry, smoke, spice, minerality, charcoal, garrigue, menthol, soft tannins and balancing acid. Kermit Lynch does it again, always finds a prime example. Steak a little big for it, but working.

Ripe black and red berries. Plum, slight touch of spices, mushroomy rustic forest floor. 80% Malbec and the rest Merlot.

Lots of pleasure here! A bargain. Straightforward with just enough complexity to be really interesting. #wine

Dark ruby in color with a reddish rim and medium intensity.

Nose of cherries, cranberries, red currants, oak, smoke, vegetables, herbs, bell pepper, peppercorn, spices, green beans, earth and black pepper.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity and nice legs.

Tart on the attack and dry on the palate with cranberries, strawberries, wood, licorice, earth, forest floor, green vegetables, graphite, black pepper and spices.

Medium finish with soft tannins and tart cranberries.

This French Malbec is unbalanced with mild complexity. Drinkable by itself, but better with food.

Nothing special here. Earthy and funky. Not my style.

A blend of 80% Malbec and 20% Merlot.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

A slight hint of corkiness blows off in seconds leaving blackberry jam and then a whiff of stony minerals. On the tongue, an earth or leather character appears and is framed by grippy soft tannins.
