Flavorful French Malbec at Rochambeau in Boston

Considering buying a case. in my palate preference and great winter wine.

Nice red fruit nose, but syrupy and sweeter on the palate with a Sangria like profile.

Quite nice with chicken stew ($17)

Flavorful French Malbec with pork dumplings ($18)

Mild Malbec. Dark and mild fruit. Opens up the next day. Much more interesting and layered. 15.99 at Hi-T. Would get again. But not as urgently.

Primarily Malbec (80%) with some Merlot (20%). Aromas and flavors of dark berry, currant and plum fruit with hints of baking spices, black licorice and black olives. Juicy and fresh tasting. Plush and elegant (the Merlot) but still quite rustic and intense at the same time. Thank You Ron B!
