Stunningly pure and varietal/terroir driven wine. This is quite characterful with blackberry, kirsch, then sweet mint, garrigue, licorice and violets highlight the fruit. An expressive nose, the aromatics are deep and layered. The palate flavors are similarly expressive and layered with med acidity, medium+ tannin and a crazy long finish. **$20** #faugeres #carignan
